Same cold brew, a seasonal float
Starbucks’ Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew is built on the same cold-brew base as the year-round Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew, with pumpkin cream cold foam poured on top instead of vanilla sweet cream. The caffeine matches exactly at every size: 145 mg in a Tall, 185 mg in a Grande, 275 mg in a Venti, and 315 mg in a Trenta. The topping changes the flavour, not the dose.
That puts it a step below plain Starbucks Cold Brew (205 mg in a Grande), since the cream float displaces some of the concentrate, and well below Nitro Cold Brew at 280 mg.
A fall menu item, not a different recipe
Because it’s seasonal, availability varies through the year, but the underlying cold-brew concentrate is the same one used across Starbucks’ cold coffee line, so the numbers here should hold whenever it’s on the menu.
If the seasonal item isn’t available, ordering plain Cold Brew with a request for cream cold foam is one way to approximate the drink, though the caffeine will run a little higher, closer to the plain Cold Brew figures than this one.
Where it fits in a day
At 185 mg, a Grande sits under the 200 mg single dose EFSA assessed as safe for healthy adults; the 275 mg Venti is over it. Two Grandes, 370 mg, come close to the 400 mg daily figure the FDA cites for healthy adults. In pregnancy, where ACOG uses a 200 mg daily ceiling, even a Tall is close to the whole day’s allowance.
